Part of the Chamber's role is to improve the environment in which businesses operate. As an advocate for Auckland businesses, the Chamber performs a number of functions including lobbying government on behalf of business interests.

Past submissionss

Governance  

The seven city and district councils that make up the Auckland region publish an annual draft of their strategic plan. The Chamber makes submissions, which affect those plans and encourage councils to create positive environments for business success and economic growth. The Chamber also assists individual industries and businesses with concerns regarding local government issues.
