b-Global events

The International Trade Team at the Chamber regularly hold events that will interest
importers and exporters by exposing them to experts both in global business and
in trade policy. The vision for these international events is to build
understanding, foster opportunities for New Zealand companies and provide
attendees information about the markets they trade with, or have the potential
to trade with.
b-Global events provide companies the opportunity to express their trading concerns
with people who can make a difference and a create a forum in which to meet,
network and share experiences with other New
Zealand traders. Events take a
variety of formats including breakfasts, lunches, trade summits and networking after five
functions. Speakers include international business leaders, political leaders, senior government officials, ambassadors, and local experts on international business.

Insights for international traders
The Chamber holds this series of keynote speaker luncheons
focused on topical issues for international traders.
Guest speakers at Global Trader luncheons share their thoughts and insights on the current international marketplace and how various issues, opportunities and challenges may affect international traders over the next 12-18 months.
Themes and speakers are chosen depending on the economic and
international activity at the time, so as to ensure the luncheons are relevant
and address current issues.
Global Trader luncheons provide attendees with the opportunity to network
with fellow importers and exporters, learn from seasoned traders and browse an
exhibition of service providers in the international trade arena.
Market Snapshots

Market Snapshots, a fresh and lively seminar series exploring business vitality in emerging global hotspots. With a different focus market for each event, Market Snapshots takes an in-depth look at the opportunities and challenges faces by Kiwi organisations practicing in that environment. Focusing
specifically on connecting international traders with one another, while
allowing for relaxed, interactive discussions on issues and topics of interest
to the exporters and importers in attendance.
