Breakfast with David Kirk

Auckland business will be given an edge with RWC-specific business information through a series developed by the Auckland Chamber of Commerce in association with AucklandPlus.
Proactive businesses joined David Kirk for a breakfast at the Heritage Hotel in April 2010, where he shared insights garnered from his exceptional business and rugby career.
This event launched the RWC 2011 Auckland Speaker Series which will focus on informing businesses about key opportunity areas with the RWC 2011. If you'd like to gain a deeper understanding of the tender process and sustainability requirements, the first seminar on Thursday 22nd April is essential.

Bullet PR Online PR Director, Thom James, spoke at the sold out Chamber event, Online Marketing, held at the Auckland University Business School on Thursday 30 July.
Thom spoke to more than 100 business executives on the topics of social media, online reputation management & SEO PR, highlighting the benefits that social media can have for businesses wishing to engage directly with their customers and establish long-term meaningful relationships. Online reputation management was also highlighted in the context of issue management; as was the role of search engine marketing in media relations.

A Regional Employment Summit, this entailed an update from a Westpac economist on the current situation in New Zealand at a complimentary summit co-hosted by the Auckland Chamber of Commerce and the Ministry of Social Development.
Providing an opportunity for suggestions on how Government can work with business to retain employment and remove areas that are proving to be obstacles to businesses surviving in a time of recession. Attendees heard what the likely short to medium term consequences of the current crisis will be and how businesses like yours can respond.

Creative Entrepreneurs with Eco Store.
Our June 2008 Creative Entrepreneurs evening was with Eco Store founder Malcolm Rands. Malcolm talked about how he and his wife successfully grew a home-based mail order business into the well-recognised brand that is now found in supermarket chains and health-focused stores throughout New Zealand.
